Is your food good for diabetic cats? Is it good for cats with kidney disease?Updated 7 months ago
Our formulas are rich in digestible protein and moisture to keep cats hydrated and metabolism in good shape. Kibble is full of carbohydrates and can contribute to insulin resistance. Feeding a diet high in digestible protein, moisture and low in carbohydrates is recommended for cats with kidney disease. Our phosphorus levels for both meals fall within the range of 0.3-0.6% on a dry matter basis and thus considered low in phosphorus. Our chicken is the lower one of the two options. We recommend discussing dietary changes with your veterinarian, especially when considering chronic medical conditions.
