No. We use the spent grains from local breweries, which is the barley that has been soaked in water and rinsed. The brewing companies use the liquid from the spent grains to create the beer. We gather the spent grains on brewing days to create our treats. No alcohol and no hops…just the same malty taste you may enjoy with your beer.
